Joelle Anderson ’17 made The Mercury News on Wednesday for being one of the latest players to join the roster of Bay Football Club (Bay FC) after a slew of trades, a move that will see her return to the Bay Area to play professional soccer. Previously a member of the Houston Dash, Anderson was one of five alums inducted to the Harker Athletic Hall of Fame in October. At Harker, she was a three-time MVP for the girls varsity soccer team and was named soccer forward of the year by the West Bay Athletic League. She went on to play soccer at Pepperdine before joining the Dash in 2022.
