Over the winter break, girls basketball went 3-0 at the Del Mar Basketball Tournament to become tournament champions. The squad defeated Santa Teresa in the finals 62-47, while junior Isabella Lo earned tournament MVP and senior Claire Miao took home all-tournament honors. The girls start league play tomorrow at King’s Academy before hosting a non-league contest vs. Monte Vista Christian Saturday.

Boys hoops was busy as well, fighting off injury and illness while playing four games. Many players stepped in to fill the gap as the week featured a thrilling overtime loss to Piedmont Hills. The boys remained competitive in all their games. League play begins tomorrow for the team at King’s Academy.

Girls soccer fell to Presentation 3-0 on Dec. 21. The team is gearing up to host Menlo tomorrow at 3:45 p.m. on Davis Field and looks to improve upon its 4-2-1 record.

Boys soccer hosted Menlo Friday to open league play as the Knights bested the Eagles 3-0. Support them Wednesday as they host Crystal Springs.
