Eagle Update: Girls basketball, soccer improve on winning records

Girls basketball improved to 12-4 overall, 4-1 in league, with their wins over Eastside College Prep and Mercy last week. Support them tomorrow night in the Athletic Center at 5 p.m. against co-league leader King’s Academy. Come show your Eagle Spirit for this big game! The girls also host Castilleja Friday and Monta Vista Saturday.

Boys soccer’s three-game win streak came to an end Friday vs. Menlo. The boys defeated Sacred Heart Prep, Eastside College Prep and Pinewood last week before falling to the Knights. The team hopes to bounce back at Crystal Springs Wednesday before hosting King’s Academy on Friday for Kicks Against Cancer.

Girls soccer went 2-0 last week with victories over Notre Dame-San Jose and Nueva School to improve to 7-4-2 overall, 2-2-1 in league. The girls travel to Menlo today before hosting Notre Dame-Belmont Friday.

Boys basketball fell to ECP and Priory last week as they gear up to face Crystal Springs on the road today while hosting Menlo Friday in the Athletic Center.
