In January, Harker’s summer administrators were honored for being an Impact Partner with the Greene Scholars Program, an organization that provides STEM education opportunities for African-American youths in the Bay Area. GSP’s summer camps were hosted at the lower school campus in the summer of 2024 and expanded to both the lower and middle school campuses last summer, with summer admins offering support to the program. Summer programs director Cindi Gonsalves was presented with the award at GSP’s Annual Science Fair and Expo.
“The Greene Scholars Program has voiced their appreciation for the work we have put in to make their experience positive and impactful for the students who attend,” said summer programs director Cindi Gonsalves. “If it wasn’t for the teamwork, flexibility and positive, can-do attitudes of the summer administrators, we would not have stood out.”
