Eagle Update: Boys soccer keeping CCS hopes alive

Girls basketball earned two big league wins last week vs. King’s Academy and Castilleja to remain atop the league with Sacred Heart Prep. Both have 6-1 league records. The girls travel to face the Gators Tuesday for a 5 p.m. tipoff in a battle for first place.

Boys soccer continues to claw its way back into the league discussion with its 2-1 win against second-place Crystal last week and a hard-fought 2-2 tie vs. King’s Academy Friday. The boys have a busy week as they host ECP today for Senior Day, travel to Priory on Wednesday and host SHP Friday for their last league game, hoping to reach CCS.

Boys basketball played its best game of the season Friday in a 47-46 loss to Menlo. The team also played well in its victory at Crystal earlier in the week and gears up to host Pinewood tomorrow and travel to Eastside College Prep on Friday.

Girls soccer fell to Menlo and NDB last week, dropping to 7-6-2 overall and 2-4-1 in league. The team hosts Priory tomorrow for Senior Day and travels to SHP Friday as it continues to battle for a CCS automatic berth.
