Drew Goldstein ’13 featured by CNBC for health care work

Drew Goldstein ’13 (pictured, left), who heads up Palantir Technologies’ U.S. commercial health care team with colleague Jeremy David, was recently featured in a CNBC story about how his team’s software is helping hospitals process greater numbers of incoming patients. In one case, Ohio’s Cleveland Clinic was able to take on more incoming patients due to Palantir’s AI-powered platform predicting large numbers of discharges. The platform accomplishes this by converting complex data into information easily understandable by health care workers. The result has not just been better care but also reduced stress among hospital staff. Goldstein and his team developed the solution by spending extensive time shadowing doctors and nurses at hospitals in Ohio and Florida, including during overnight shifts.
