In March, senior Syna Sharma spoke at TEDxDel Mar Youth, and independently organized TED event held at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego. Sharma, who intends to study neuroscience at Boston University, spoke about her experience with eating disorders and how it drove her to advocate for education and prevention of eating disorders, including participating an internship at Stanford University. She also offered advice to people suffering from eating disorders in silence.
