The Harker School is teaming up with the California Teacher Development Collaborative (CATDC) to host the Harker Teacher Institute: Authentic Assessment & Learning Experiences in the Age of AI on Sat., June. 27. The event will be a full day of workshops and presentations offering Bay Area educators opportunities to learn about emerging methods of classroom education and assessment design. A morning keynote will be delivered by Sabba Quidwai, author CEO of Designing Schools, who will speak on how teachers can use AI as a partner in their classrooms. Harker faculty will conduct workshops throughout the day on topics such as using AI tools, developing AI literacy, using social media and more.
This event will take place at Harker’s upper school campus, located at 500 Saratoga Ave., San Jose, CA 95128. Registration includes the morning keynote, three workshop sessions, a continental breakfast and lunch.
Early bird registration is available at $75 until May 23, and standard registration is $100.
