Sixth graders visited Camp Newman in Santa Rosa to learn about fire ecology, play team-building games, explore the surrounding natural environment and challenge the camp’s Alpine Tower.

Meanwhile, seventh graders trekked to many of California’s most notable natural historical sites, including Kings Canyon, the Manzanar National Historic Site and Monterey Bay.

At the nation’s capital, eighth graders visited Washington D.C.’s many monuments, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and explored the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
