The Harker Conservatory recently received three nominations for 2026 Rita Moreno Awards, which recognizes excellence in high school theater programs across central and northern California. “Something Rotten!” the upper school spring musical, was nominated for the award for Overall Production. Senior Simon Kirjner, who played Nick Bottom in the production, and Omar Khan, who portrayed Shylock, are up for Lead Actor and Supporting Performer, respectively.
The cast of “Something Rotten!” will perform a portion of the musical at the Rita Moreno Awards ceremony on Mon., May 18 at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are available.
