On March 8, Harker’s programming club held its annual Harker Programming Invitational, which attracted 210 participants from more than 50 Bay Area schools to the Nichols Hall atrium. A total of 78 teams tackled problems created by Programming Club officers, who also arranged a panel of speakers that included Sanjiv Das of Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business; entrepreneur and machine learning specialist Fangfang Tan; Harker alum Tiffany Zhao ’19 of Scale AI; and Vincent Hao, director of machine learning at PayPal.
