On Saturday, upper school students performed a cleanup operation along Los Gatos Creek. The activity was organized by South Bay Clean Creeks, whose director, Steve Holmes, spoke to the students about the beaver, salmon and other wildlife returning to the area. The students were joined by San Jose mayor Matt Mahan, who discussed his goals to create more opportunities for community cleanup as well as shelter unhoused people living near the creek. To celebrate a successful cleanup, the students headed to a nearby taco truck!
