Shlurp Ramen wins $5K in funding at National Pitch Competition

Yesterday, Shlurp Ramen—the business founded by rising seniors Naiya Daswani and Emily Mitnick and recent graduate Siddhi Jain ’24—was named one of the winners of the INCubatoredu National Pitch Competition at the finals of the competition, held in Chicago. Shlurp is a plant-based, gluten-free instant ramen product that was developed by the founders to be a “comfort meal that we feel great about eating,” according to the company’s website. The company will receive $5,000 in funding as one of the contest’s winners. Last year, POTTR, another student-founded company, reached the National Pitch semifinals and the dog toy company TuffToy won the competition in 2022.
