Gr. 9 students take third at Amateur Team West chess tournament
Over the Presidents Day weekend, ninth graders (pictured, left to right) Shivam Sharma, Reyansh Gupta, Nathan Yan and Dylan Tang placed third in the Amateur Team West National Championship chess tournament, held at the Sonesta Silicon Valley Event Center. The event consisted of six rounds featuring 22 teams rated 1700+ by the United States Chess Federation.
