Over the Presidents Day weekend, ninth graders (pictured, left to right) Shivam Sharma, Reyansh Gupta, Nathan Yan and Dylan Tang placed third in the Amateur Team West National Championship chess tournament, held at the Sonesta Silicon Valley Event Center. The event consisted of formidable teams from across the west coast.
