On March 8, Harker’s programming club held its annual Harker Programming Invitational, which attracted 210 participants from more than 50 Bay Area schools to the Nichols Hall atrium. A total of 78 teams tackled problems created by Programming Club officers, who also arranged a panel of speakers that included Dr. Sanjiv Das of Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business, entrepreneur and machine learning specialist Dr. Fangfang Tan, Tiffany Zhao of Scale AI and Vincent Hao, director of machine learning at PayPal.
