Student author to speak at Los Altos Library

Children’s book author Keira Chang, grade 11, has been invited to be a guest speaker at the Los Altos Library in November, during its 2024 Science and Technology Week. Chang will appear Nov. 13-15, leading discussions about her work, reading one of her books to children and leading a workshop for young writers.

Chang made the local news last November after her first book, “Marinara & Alfredo: How Do Rainbows Work?” became a bestseller on Amazon. She later published “Marinara & Alfredo: How Do Ouchies Heal?” Both books have been adapted into animated shorts, narrated by Chang herself, that are currently being shown at Stanford Children’s Hospital.
