Earlier this week, rising junior Ian Gerstner and recent graduate Indigo Lee were named semifinalists in the 2023 National Pitch Competition, organized by INCubatoredu. Their company, called POTTR, sells eye-catching vases that also work as fly traps by luring flies into a compartment with a special solution. In addition to their functionality and aesthetic appeal, POTTR vases are also easy to clean and maintain. If the team qualifies for the finals, they will travel to Chicago in July to determine the winner of the competition.

Last year, TuffToy, founded by Class of 2023 members Rohan Gorti, Arin Jain and Zubin Khera, was the winning company in the 2022 National Pitch Competition.
