Robotics wins second pre-season event as 2026 season approaches
After their stellar performance at the CalGames in Woodside, Calif., where they only lost one match through the entire event, Harker Robotics won 10 of 15 matches at the Capital City Classic at Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove to claim the championship. “Throughout the competition, Harker’s robot delivered precise autonomous routines and reliable scoring cycles, maintaining control even in high-stakes matches,” said junior Aanika Kapoor, the team’s operations president. The team won 10 of its 15 matches in the qualification rounds and their alliance continued undefeated in the playoffs and won big in the final round with a score of 208-173. “Capital City Classic marks another milestone in Harker Robotics’ ongoing pursuit of excellence as the team prepares for the upcoming 2026 season,” Kapoor said.
