In late January and early February, the upper school girls and boys soccer teams held their annual Kicks Against Cancer fundraiser, raising more than $3,000 in donations for Camp Okizu, which organizes outdoor activities for families with children living with cancer. Starting Jan. 29, the teams began raising funds by selling baked goods and merchandise during lunch. They also worked with a local Panda Express restaurant to allow customers to donate 20 percent of the price of their purchase to the fundraiser. Additional funds were raised during both teams’ games against Notre Dame-Belmont and King’s Academy, respectively, on Feb. 2.
