Last month, Harker sixth graders Ariana Lieu and Chloe Zou took home the gold medal in the US Tennis Association’s Junior Circuit Indoor Dominant Duo tournament, in the Coed 12 and Under category. The pair, who have been competing together for about one year, faced off in a round-robin format against seven other teams from around the Bay Area.
