Last month, junior Luke Zeng and sophomores Helen Gu, Charlotte Ludlow and Holly Templeton performed as members of the California Coastal Honor Choir. The concerts, held Nov. 16-18 at Chabot College in Hayward, are organized by the California Choral Directors Association, and require a rigorous audition process followed by thorough preparation upon acceptance into one of the choirs. Music teachers Susan Nace and Jennifer Sandusky coached the students prior to and after their auditions, which required a video from each student demonstrating their skill in various techniques.
