Over spring break, Harker track and field traveled south to compete in the Tiger Invitational (also known as the Tiger Invite) in Pasadena and Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High School, with each Harker athlete earning a personal or a school record. At the Tiger Invitte, sophomore Brady Tse started the day by taking first in the Rising Stars 400m race with a personal record of 51.13 and second place in the Rising Stars 200m race with a PR of 22.58. Junior Kaleb Goldin ran a PR in the 100m Varsity race by running 10.88 placing him sixth overall and eight in the CCS. He also ran a PR in the 200m with a 22.23 taking second overall and tying for seventh in the CCS. The Varsity boys 4×100 relay, consisting of Kaleb Goldin, Brady Tse, senior Michael Chang and junior Eric Zhang placed fourth overall with a time of 43.18, moving up to ninth in CCS. The boys also ran a new school record with 3:35:56 in the 4×400 Relay. Senior Anjali Yella ran a school record in the 100m with a time of 12.21 taking fifth overall and placing third overall in CCS at the Tiger Invite. She also ran a personal in the 200m with 25.10, moving up to fourth in the CCS at Arcadia.

Boys volleyball competed in the prestigious Justin Ebner Memorial Tournament at Bellarmine last week, going 3-3 overall and placing sixth out of 24 teams. The squad won their pool Friday highlighted by a 17-15 game-three win over the number-one ranked St. Francis. On Saturday, the boys fought hard in three-set losses to Mater Dei and Mitty before falling to Clovis East in two. Support them Wednesday at Cupertino and Friday at home vs. Homestead.
