Harker emerged first in the NorCal state finals of the National Economics Challenge, held April 3 at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Harker teams finished in the top five in the nation in both policy debate and Lincoln-Douglas debate in the National Debate Coaches Association National Championship tournament, last week.

Harker journalism won three Crown Awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, a first for the program and an extremely rare occurrence for any high school.

Senior Logan Bhamidipaty was recently awarded a scholarship from the U.S. State Department’s National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSIL-Y), which funds a full academic year abroad.
