On Monday, Alan Jiang ’23 was named the 16th and final Harker graduate to receive a scholarship in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship program. All scholarship winners in this announcement are set to receive college-sponsored scholarships of between $500 and $2,000 each year for a period of up to four years. Congratulations to all 16 of Harker’s winners!

Five more members of the Class of 2023 were named National Merit Scholarship winners today, bringing the total to 15. Guoran Chen, Anika Pandey, Sunjum Sanghari, Divya Sivakumar and Richard Zhang will receive college-sponsored scholarships from the institutions they plan to attend, providing between $500 and $2000 each year for up to four years.

May 10, 2023:

Today, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced that 10 Harker seniors have received $2,500 scholarships in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. They are: Rupert Chen, Rahul Herrero, Jack Hsieh, Alexander Lan, Johnathan Mo, Amrita Pasupathy, Ada Praun-Petrovic, Ashley Ruan, Sabrina Zhu and Sally Zhu.

Winners of these scholarships were selected by college admissions officers and high school counselors, who evaluated students according to criteria including academic records, PSAT/NMSQT scores and community and school leadership.

More National Merit scholarship winners will be announced in June and July.
