Students earn accolades in Mathematical Association of America competitions

Several upper school students recently earned accolades for their performance in competitions held by the Mathematical Association of America. Sophomore Sylvia Chen was one of the top five scorers in the American Math Contest (AMC) B exam and received a scholarship from tech investment firm Two Sigma. In the USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO), sophomore Hengrui Liang earned a bronze award, whiles juniors James Lin and Kallie Wang and sophomore Heather Wang received honorable mentions in the USA Junior Mathematical Olympiad (USAJMO).
