Team Mango, comprised of Harker sophomores Colin Li, Jaden Ruffy, Andrew Shin and team leader Bazigh Tahirzad, recently became semifinalists in the 2024-25 Wharton Global High School Investment Competition. This yearly competition is a stock market simulation in which teams are tasked with creating a financial plan and investment portfolio for a potential client. Mango was one of just 50 teams to qualify out of more than 1,800 participating teams. These remaining 50 teams will be separated into five groups of 10 teams each, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the finals in April.
