Alum featured in Harvard Magazine for cancer research
The latest issue of Harvard Magazine includes a story on Humsa Venkatesh ’04, now an assistant professor of neurology at Harvard University. Venkatesh has been studying the relationship between cancer and the brain, which Venkatesh she coined “cancer neuroscience.” The feature covers how she began using neuroscience to study brain tumors, and how her findings helped kick off a new field of research.
