In July, Michelle Wei ’24 (pictured, second from right) traveled to the Netherlands to compete in the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI), winning a silver medal as a member of the United States’ team. Founded in 2021, the EGOI is an international computer science competition for young women interested in pursuing careers in computer science. The week-long Olympiad tasks students with solving algorithmic problems during two days of competition.
